Today we went to the Museum of Vancouver to see
SweaterLodge, an architectural installation in which a giant polar fleece sweater is suspended from the ceiling of the gallery to create a tent-like structure (
1/3 of #27 - done!).
The fleece is made out of recycled pop bottles (!) and is 26.5 meters (87 feet) cuff to cuff (!!). In other words, it's friggen huge. Check out Adam - who is 6'5" - strolling around underneath the beast:
The
MOV website says: "The installation is a portrait of Vancouver where the veneration of nature and the construction of urban culture stand at curious odds."
If you're in town, I'd say spend the $12 and go check it out.
