I like the idea of choosing a page of newspaper with the date on it, or something with headlines, as a memento of a big day. Sort of a new spin on that old tradition of saving the first page of the newspaper from birthdays and whatnot. Newspaper fades, so I'd photocopy the page I want onto acid free paper and use that as the matting.
Cute, right?
