Happy Weekend!

I hope that the news where you are is reporting what happened after the Vancouver riots on Wednesday night, but if they aren't, here's what happened on Thursday morning: Hundreds of Vancouverites, dressed in their Canucks t-shirts and jerseys, went downtown and helped clean up the mess. Tens of thousands of Canucks fans joined Facebook groups against the riots. The Vancouver Police Department was overwhelmed by tips by citizens helping them identify the rioters through the millions of photos taken during the chaos.  And in true Canadian fashion, we showered the VPD with thanks.

I still love my city and my team! And as usual, Adam and I are going to enjoy Vancouver as much as possible this weekend. We're going to go for our bike ride, walk around the pretty streets, and smooch by the ocean. (And psst - I've booked an appointment to go try on some wedding gowns. Eeeee!)
