The New York that never was

This post is amazing: what New York City could have been, from the imagination of architects in 1908.

This reminds me of sixth grade, when our teacher had us write a letter to our 30-year-old selves. Have you ever written a letter to your future self? They are so strange and wonderful to read. (That teacher never returned the letter; I shall have to write a new one).
